Many parents often take their time with baby names, discussing and debating the options.
After all, who wouldnt want their newestfamilymember to have a good and meaningful name?

So there is no doubt about who actually has the right to give the kid a name.
No matter how much you might want it, you cant just go around naming other folks kids.
So the real discussion here is about allowing the sister to have her chance to name the kids.
There is nothing wrong with asking someone to name your kids, indeed, its generally considered an honor.
However, its pretty clear that the brother and his wife do not like the names she suggested.
Everyone has their ownpreferences, but its important to always keep in mind whose kid it is.
There will be ample opportunities for the sister to interact with the baby in more meaningful ways.
The name is just a hang-up she will have to get over.
Her only option is to live out motherhood by proxy.
Ultimately, the brother isnt wrong to want to name his own child.
But its still worth him trying to reconcile with his sister.
