The fun part is that theyworkin the same industry, and hed somehow managed to keep a shiny reputation.
And when they escaped, they kept on going, and at an industryevent, no less.
The event in question?
A place where the wine was flowing freely, and apparently, so did the gossip.
Nothing untrue, but boy, did she let it out.
Total pro, cool as a cucumber.
But this time she let loose, and the next day was all about piecing together hazy memories.
And, spoiler alert, it wasnt pretty.
Heres where things get ugly.
The ex was livid after finding this out, but honestly, who wouldnt be?
She had apologized, profusely, even, but as of now, her ex hasnt replied.

But heres the thing: you cant take back whats already out there.
Apologizing might sound easy, but lets be realits more than just throwing out a sorry.
Youve got to show that you understand why the other persons hurt.
And yeah, thats not exactly a walk in the park when youre still feeling all kinds of emotions.
However,expertssay that you cant force someone to forgive you.
Everyone heals at their own pace, and pushing for forgiveness might just make things worse.
And judging herself too harshly wont speed up the process.
While the OPs situation is awkward, no doubt, its not the end of the world.
We all mess up, its just part of being human.
Sure, it feels like a massive deal right now, but in the grand scheme of things?
This isnt going to be the story the OP will be remembered for.
