Everyone is entitled to their ownopinion.
And it can be especially hard to agree with someone else on how you feel about a comedy.
Some prefer slapstick, while others find raunchy movies to be hysterical.
But one voice in the comedy world thats certainly an acquired taste is Amy Schumer.
Below, youll find Shabazs post, as well as a conversation between him andBored Panda.
We also wanted to find out if hes ever watched any of Amy Schumers other films.
Ive seen some of her stand-up clips and movies, Shabaz noted.
So is this the first time hes ever been skeptical of Netflixs Top 10 list?
Ive said, How is this Number 1?
I cant say for sure, but Ive definitely questioned if they just put anything to promote it.
We were also curious about what Shabaz thought of the responses to his post.
Finally, he wanted to clarify that hes not totally against the streaming platform.
She began gaining mainstream popularity in 2007 when she earned fourth place in the NBC reality showLast Comic Standing.
In 2015, she also began starring in movies, withTrainwreckbeing her first big hit.
And most recently, she wrote, produced and starred in the 2025 Netflix filmKinda Pregnant.
It currently has a 28% Tomatometer score onRotten Tomatoesand a 4.9 out of 10 onIMDb.
So she decides to steal a fake pregnancy belly and pretend to be an expectant mother as well.
Now, the film has not received rave reviews.
Adrian Horton atThe Guardiancalled the film kinda disappointing and gave it two stars out of five.
Fran Hoepfner atVulturewrote a piece titledKinda Pregnant Is Kinda Boring.
Apparently, the biggest issue many viewers have with the film is that its simply not funny.
Unfortunately for Schumer, shes been a controversial figure for years.
Meanwhile, shes recently been vocal about her support for Israel.
And through it all, Schumer has maintained quite a bit of confidence.
Feel free to share your thoughts on this situation down below, pandas.
Lots of viewers agreed that theres something fishy going on with Netflixs rankings
Thanks!
