These are employees of subcontractor companies that enter into separate contracts with Amazon.
And, accordingly, acting due to their owninternal instructions.
So its not at all surprising that there was a misunderstanding between the client and the driver.
Anyway, work is underway to solve these (and many other)problems.
Even though they look like Amazon employees, they are not Amazon employees.
