Being aparentis never easy.
Add having auseless partneron your plate, and you just might start to lose it.
Lets give you an example.
I would literally think: well, yeah, but you dont have to do that.
Thats, YOU wanting to do that.
Its not what I WANT to do.
She would get everything ready.
I would get a backpack or suitcase or something.
And I would get my own clothes.
And I would get 2 or 3 books that I wanted to read.
And I would literally bring highlighters because Im a nerd.
And Id think, Im ready.
Im ready to go on the trip.

Looking back Im like, what, WHAT?!
How could I possibly think that was okay?
But I also had to UNLEARN it, because it NEVER was okay.
And I shouldnt have been at that point in time.
Turns out quite a LOT!
But thats how, as men, we are socialized to move through the world!
